Hi there, I'm Rose, the owner of GPS Ginger.

After 20 years as a Mechanical Engineer in large industrial facilities, I wanted to make a career change to something that involved my passion for the outdoors. That's when I earned my NYS Outdoor Guide License. Shortly after this, it was an unplanned trail map project for a friend that showed me the path I had been searching for, and GPS Ginger was born. 

I personally carry out all aspects of the mapping process. From making a custom GPX file, generating the base map in professional mapping software, editing with the Adobe software suite, and lastly entering the map on relevant sites/apps. Whether I have to hike, bike, ski, snowshoe, snowmobile, or even travel trails in my UTV, I can get new files created year-round with my satellite GPS.
